Missouri truckers sentenced on drug charges

Two truckers from Missouri avoided prison Tuesday after reaching a deal with prosecutors regarding felony drug charges. Authorities arrested 62 year old Gary Jones and 63 year old Raymond Laurie for possession and ingestion of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia on June 10th while they were in Davison County. Escaped prisoner captured

The Davison County Sheriff’s Office says escaped prisoner, 23 year old James Wesley Spino, is back in custody. Mitchell Police apprehended Spino around 2 am Wednesday at a local convenience store. He was sentenced to four years probation on a possession of a controlled substance charge. Spino was furloughed to attend treatment in Sioux Falls. …
