Twelve of thirteen businesses pass alcohol compliance check

Twelve of thirteen Mitchell businesses passed the latest compliance check conducted by the South Central Alcohol Task Force.  Café Teresa, Coborn’s, Casey’s General Store on North Main, Village Bowl/Spare Change Casino, Lakeview Golf Course, Walmart, Twin Dragon, All-Star Sports Bar, Cattleman’s Steakhouse, Sudz, Chef Louie’s, and Dr. Lucky’s refused to sell alcohol to a confidential, underage informant.

The lone failure occurred at Yessica’s Restaurant where the clerk did not ask to see the Confidential Informants identification, but still served the alcohol to the C-I.  This is Yessica’s Restaurant’s second failure within a 24-month period.
