Mercury NashvilleEaston Corbin is using his opening spot on Carrie Underwood’s Storyteller tour to do some good deeds along the way. The “Baby Be My Love Song” hitmaker is partnering with Eckrich and Operation Homefront to surprise military families with $5,000 worth of free groceries, most recently at his show in Phoenix, Arizona.
“It’s great to be able to give something back to them and I hope it helps ease the burdens of these families for everything they’ve already sacrificed,” Easton says. He’s also lightened the grocery bill of deserving families in Oakland, California and Auburn Hills, Michigan, with more giveaways planned as the tour continues.
This week, Easton, Carrie and the Swon Brothers play San Antonio and Houston, Texas, with stops in Bossier City and Lafayette, Lousiana next weekend.
