ABC/Image Group LASam Hunt will apparently be full of surprises when he walks on the platform for his appearance Friday night at the Stagecoach Festival. The “Take Your Time” hitmaker will turn his fifty-minute set into a jam session, according to Billboard, continuing his tradition of blurring the lines between country, hip-hop and pop by potentially inviting artists from multiple genres to join him.
Since the Montevallo singer often works Drake’s “Marvin’s Room” into his track “Single for the Summer,” the magazine points to the rapper as a likely choice. Pointing out that Sam has written hits for his fellow countrymen Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Billy Currington, Billboard also believes any one of them could be waiting in the wings.
Sam’s Stagecoach set starts at 7:25 Friday night in Indio, California. It’s also a good bet he’ll work in his latest single, “Make You Miss Me.”
