ABC/Image Group LANot only does Dierks Bentley’s latest release sit at number one on the country charts this week, it’s also just been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, having sold half a million copies.
“’Somewhere on a Beach’ is setting up our summer just like we wanted and putting fans in the mood to party out on the tour,” the Arizona native says. “It’s hard to believe your 14th number one could be your fastest rising. I’m blown away at the reception of the new music, and I can’t wait to start peeling back more layers of the album with the other songs.”
You’ll be able to hear the rest of those songs May 27, when Black is officially released. Dierks hits the road this Thursday on his 40-city Somewhere on a Beach Tour, playing his first date with Randy Houser, Cam and newcomer Tucker Beathard in Holmdel, New Jersey.
