BMLGABC’s Jesse Palmer has been “Livin’ the Dream” with newcomer Drake White. The new artist from neighboring Alabama gave the Good Morning America personality some pointers on life in the great outdoors during an overnight camping segment in Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains. It was all to commemorate the 100th birthday of America’s National Parks System.
“I feel most myself when I am in the woods and spending time in nature,” Drake says. “There is no better feeling than disconnecting from your phone for a few hours to really relax and enjoy life. There is an ease of the mind that usually inspires new songs.”
There’s a whole batch of new songs on the way from Drake, as he’s putting the finishing touches on his debut album, which is due later this year. This summer, he hits the road on the Black Out the Sun Tour with Zac Brown Band.
