Country Music AssociationFor CMA Music Festival 2016, the Country Music Association is rolling out two new daytime stages, both located inside Nashville’s new Ascend Amphitheater.
Chris Young will kick things off Wednesday, June 8 at 11 a.m. on the AT&T Skyview Stage, with Old Dominion, Aubrie Sellers, High Valley, Michael Ray, William Michael Morgan, Clare Dunn and Frankie Ballard continuing the day’s entertainment.
Ashley Monroe plays Thursday, with The Oak Ridge Boys set to stage their Salute to America on Friday, which also will bring performances from Sara Evans and Shenandoah. On Saturday, you’ll have the chance to see Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, Cassadee Pope, Maddie & Tae, Jana Kramer and the Marshall Tucker Band.
Sunday brings a who’s-who of nineties hitmakers hosted by Tracy Lawrence that includes John Berry, John Michael Montgomery, Lorrie Morgan, T. Graham Brown and T.G. Sheppard.
The second new performance area, the Budweiser Acoustic Stage, will be active during set changes on the Skyview Stage.
