BMLGJustin Moore spent the weeks leading up to this Father’s Day searching for the Best Dad in the World, hosting a contest urging kids from 1 to 92 to post a video revealing why they believe their pop comes out on top. While the winner will be rewarded with a home concert by the “You Look Like I Need a Drink” hitmaker, Justin himself may very well be separated from his own family for the holiday.
“Unfortunately, I’m gonna spend it working. We’re out on tour with a good friend of mine, Brantley Gilbert, right now. We’re working that night — good to be working, it’s good to be on tour! I’m trying to figure out a way that I can get Kate and the girls out with me so I at least get to spend it with them. But if not, we’ve got about ten days off following that weekend of shows, so we’ll have to make up for it then.”
Justin is the proud papa to daughters Ella, Kennedy and Klein. Look for his new album, Kinda Don’t Care, due out August 12.
