ABC/Image Group LAThings couldn’t get much better these days for Carrie Underwood. This weekend, she celebrated half a dozen years of marriage to hockey star Mike Fisher with a romantic getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
“Six years ago today, I said ‘I do,’ to this handsome fella,” the “Church Bells” hitmaker shared on her socials, along with a seaside photo of the two holding hands.
“I meant it then and I mean it now. God put us together and continues to bless our marriage,” she continued. “I couldn’t imagine this life without you, @mfisher1212 I am thankful for these past six years together (and, of course, for our beautiful son, Isaiah) and I look forward to spending the rest of our lives in love.”
The Nashville Predators star accompanied his love note to his wife with a picture of their wedding day. “Time sure does fly when you’re having fun and you marry up,” Mike shared. “I’m very grateful to have an amazing wife and mother by my side!!”
Carrie still has a few more days off to enjoy before she gets back to work. Her next gig is July 22 at the Great Jones County Fair in Monticello, Iowa.
