Warner Music NashvilleJana Kramer says “Circles” is much more than just her new single: it’s actually kind of the story of her life.
“[It] has become such a personal song to me…” she reveals. “The lyrics talk about piecing together a broken heart and… when I first heard the demo, that’s what I wanted to find.”
“The funny thing is I had just started talking to my now husband and I wondered if maybe this would end up being about him,” she says, referring to former NFL tight end Mike Caussin. “Now it’s my song for him… to say no matter what, we’re doing this, it’s you and me. That the ring he gave me is not just a ring, but means so much more. He has truly pieced together my broken parts.”
The two tied the knot in May of last year, with their daughter Jolie Rae joining them in January. “Circles” follows Jana’s hit “I Got the Boy,” which is also featured on her latest album, thirty one.
