ABC/Mark LevineCharlie Daniels is adding one of the hottest concert draws around to his 80th Birthday Volunteer Jam this fall in Nashville. Chris Stapleton will join the all-star lineup, which already includes Kid Rock and Larry the Cable Guy, with more artists to be revealed in the future.
“This is going to be one of them magic evenings,” Charlie says. “I’m really looking forward to jamming with Chris… I’m looking forward to just getting on stage with him and some other pickers and just let the music take us wherever it wants to go.”
Tickets are on sale now for the show November 30 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Part of the proceeds will go to Charlie’s non-profit, The Journey Home Project, which helps veterans re-adjust to life after their service.
Later this year, Charlie will officially become a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, after his induction during the Medallion Ceremony in the Hall’s CMA Theater.
