Warner Music NashvilleIt’s turning out to be a pretty good week for Dan+Shay. Not only is “From the Ground Up” number one, the duo also found out it’s just been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, having sold the equivalent of half a million copies. Their previous chart-topper, “Nothin’ Like You,” went gold as well.
Next month, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney head overseas for their first-ever dates in the United Kingdom, playing London, Manchester and Birmingham, England, as well as Glasgow, Scotland. The news that all of those shows have sold out comes just as tickets for their headlining Obsessed Tour of the U.S. go on sale Friday.
