ABC/Image Group LAKenny Chesney wrapped up this year’s Spread the Love tour on Saturday, playing for more than 121,000 fans over two nights at the home of the New England Patriots just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. All totaled, the “Setting the World on Fire” hitmaker notched 15 sell-outs over the summer.
Kenny saved several surprises for his final weekend, playing “Guitars and Tiki Bars” for the first time on the trek, joking he used to wear a beeper back when he wrote the song. Old Dominion provided the harmonies for a version of the Eagles‘ “Take It Easy,” while Miranda Lambert played the role of Grace Potter on “You and Tequila,” before seguing into George Strait’s “The Fireman.”
“This night in Foxborough and the past 48 hours, I just wanna say one thing,” Kenny added after the show. “Shut the door, best night of our touring life ever! Cheers everybody!”
