Photo: Target CorporationIf you were checking out Garth Brooks’ Facebook page on Thursday afternoon, you would’ve spotted the Country Music Hall of Famer hanging out with the Target dog and playing a red-and-white Target-themed guitar — and there’s a good reason why. Not only was Garth about to play for the retailer’s gathering in Minneapolis, he was also about to announce his partnership with Target to release his new album.
You’ll be able to buy the as-yet-untitled new record November 11, complete with exclusive Target bonus tracks, as part of the Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Collection 10-disc set. The other nine CDs will be filled with music curated from Garth’s catalog, remastered for the first time in thematic playlists, along with previously unreleased material.
Details about the price of the Target set, as well as when the new album will be available as a single unit, are still forthcoming.
