Watch as a Country-Music World Envelopes the Stars in the New "Forever Country" Video

CMAIf you’ve had a hard time figuring out exactly when each of the 30 CMA-winning artists sings on the Country Music Association’s “Forever Country” single, making that distinction just got a whole lot easier, as the history-making video premiered Tuesday night on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

From the first line as Brad Paisley sings of his home state of West Virginia on John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” a dreamlike country-music world rises around the biggest stars in the genre. Shot entirely over three days during last summer’s CMA Music Festival, the creative feat uses green-screen technology to accomplish the impossible.

The Bridgestone Arena’s CMA Awards stage materializes behind frequent host Vince Gill. The Ryman Auditorium comes together as Reba sings, all building toward the end, where all 30 stars surround Dolly Parton in a field as she delivers the final line of “I Will Always Love You.”

If you’re wondering if a live performance of the mashup that also includes Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again” could be a part of the 50th Annual CMA Awards November 2 on ABC, CMA CEO Sarah Trahern says she doesn’t believe that’s likely. But as the “Forever Country” video proves — nothing is impossible.
