ABC/Image Group LAMiranda Lambert is planning a major celebration for the grand opening of her new Pink Pistol store in her hometown of Lindale, Texas. She’ll kick off the yearly event known as Pinktoberfest with a block party October 22 at The Cannery, the new space that’s home to both Miranda’s boutique and the new barbeque and music joint known as Love and War in Texas.
Knowing what an avid dog-lover the “Vice” hitmaker is, it’s no surprise her MuttNation Foundation will be at the center of things. There’ll be a Pretty in Pink costume contest for both people and their pets, as well as an adoption fair that goes all day. You’ll also be able to check out the Miranda Lambert Rose, which helps raise money for the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year’s non-profit.
Earlier this year, Miranda closed her Pink Pistol location in Oklahoma, where she’d lived with ex-husband Blake Shelton, in order to move to a new, larger location in her Lone Star State home. You can keep up with the goings-on at the Pink Pistol through the store’s Facebook page.
