Mitchell woman pleads not guilty to numerous charges

A 35 year old Mitchell woman says she’s not guilty of three drug charges plus kidnapping and robbery. According to court documents, court services performed a probation search on September 8th and Danica Loseke tested positive for methamphetamine and THC. She also admitted to officers that she recently ingested the substance. In a separate matter Loseke and three others are accused of the kidnapping and robbery of a 66 year old man on September 22nd in Mitchell.

Judge Tim Tucker set trial for the week of February 28th.

First degree kidnapping is punishable by up to life in prison and or a $50,000 fine. First degree robbery carries a maximum punishment of 25 years in prison and or a $25,000 fine.

Possession of, and unauthorized ingestion of meth is punishable by up to five years in prison and or a $10,000 fine on each count.

The drug charges are all violations of her probation agreement on a previous case.
