ABC/Brett OronzioGarth Brooks’ The Ultimate Collection doesn’t even come out until Friday, but it’s already breaking a record. The 10-disc Target exclusive has officially become the biggest pre-sale in the retailer’s history.
The CMA Entertainer of the Year teamed up with Target to offer fans a deal they couldn’t refuse, pricing the set under $30 and including Garth’s duet album with wife Trisha Yearwood, Christmas Together, in the deal. The collection also boasts his new album Gunslinger a full two weeks before it’s available by itself.
In the days around the release, Garth will be clocking some serious TV time. Garth Brooks/Yankee Stadium/Live premieres Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on the AUDIENCE Network, before he gets up early Friday morning to stop by ABC’s Good Morning America. On Monday, he’ll mentor the final dozen contestants on NBC’s The Voice.
