Dolly Parton Previews "Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love" in New Trailer

NBCUniversalThe new trailer for Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors:  Circle of Love gives us a glimpse at the entertainment icon’s first small screen role in some time. She plays the Painted Lady, also known as the “town trollop,” from her hometown, who she has claimed for years was the one who inspired her distinctive look.

The two-hour TV movie finds Dolly’s dad taking a dangerous job in a mine, both to pave the way for a happy holiday for his family and to buy a long-overdue wedding ring for Dolly’s mom, Avie Lee Parton, once again played by Jennifer Nettles. You’ll also hear the first notes of Dolly’s new yuletide tune “Circle of Love” in the clip, which happens to be on Jennifer’s seasonal set, To Celebrate Christmas, as well.

The sequel to last year’s successful Coat of Many Colors film premieres November 30 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. You can watch the sneak preview on YouTube.
