MCA NashvilleKip Moore will be part of an impressive lineup of talent set to pay tribute to R&B legend Smokey Robinson next Wednesday, as the Library of Congress gives him its Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.
Hosted by actor Samuel L. Jackson, the evening also will feature an appearance by Motown founder Berry Gordy, CeeLo Green, the Eagles’ Joe Walsh, and many more. You’ll be able to watch the special on February 10 when it premieres on PBS.
Willie Nelson received the honor last year. Kip’s new EP, Underground, was released last month.
