ABC/Image Group LAKelsea Ballerini can officially count the inaugural weekend of her headlining tour an overwhelming success, having sold-out shows in the nation’s capital; her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee; and in Atlanta.
“This opening weekend was so surreal!” she reflects. “I still can’t believe how loud each crowd was when they sang back all of the words to my songs! To see the rooms filled with fans that love all the same things I do — lots of glitter, fun and country music — was the best feeling. Every night was more fun than I could have ever imagined!”
The “Yeah Boy” singer clocks three more stops on The First Time Tour this week, before competing for Favorite Female Country Artist alongside Carrie Underwood and Cam at the AMAs. You can vote online now, leading up to the 2016 American Music Awards, airing Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
