Eric Church to Play with the Cowboys and the Redskins on Thanksgiving Day

ABC/Brett OronzioUsing the chalkboard imagery from his CMA-winning Mr. Misunderstood album, Eric Church revealed he’ll play this year’s halftime show as the Dallas Cowboys take on the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving Day. Whistling and drawing football diagrams in a new video, he laid out his turkey day plans, which will also serve as the kickoff for The Salvation Army’s yearly holiday Red Kettle Campaign.

Last year, Luke Bryan did the honors, building on the work Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and Reba have done in the past. This is the 20th anniversary of the Cowboy’s partnership with the Salvation Army.

You can catch the game live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas starting at 4:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
