ABC/Image Group LAJason Aldean is following up the 18th number one of his career with the third single from They Don’t Know, a tune titled “Any Ol’ Barstool.”
“I think [it] is probably one of the best-written songs on the album,” the ACM Entertainer of the Year says. “The guy is just trying to convince her that he’s doing fine, not drinking too much. It’s one of those things we’ve all been through in some way. Plus, that traditional feel is the country music I grew up on… I love that stuff.”
The Georgia native adds that it’s always important to him to include that kind of sound as one of the elements on his records.
