BBR Music GroupGranger Smith is off the road for the time being, as he recuperates from an accident at his show Saturday night at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey.
The “Boots On” hitmaker was standing on a monitor when it collapsed, sending him crashing into a metal barricade offstage. He managed to finish his set with his recent number one, “Backroad Song,” before being rushed to a nearby emergency room. There, it was discovered he’d suffered two broken ribs, as well as a punctured and partially-collapsed lung.
Granger continued his recovery in a New Jersey hospital this past weekend, with plans to return home to Texas as soon as possible.
