Bid numbers for Mitchell’s Indoor Aquatic Center look promising. City Administrator Stephanie Ellwein says the city had four competitive bidders on the eight-million dollar project and the top two were close. “After first review of the bids, that we will certainly recommend a project to the council, that will be within that established bid limit that the council had already in place,” said Ellwein.
Right now the city is reviewing the bids and factoring in professional services fees before forwarding a recommendation to the council.
Ellwein says the bids and final recommendation is set for the January 17th City Council meeting. She says anyone with questions may contact her office or the Mayor.
