The Mitchell School District has postponed the grand opening of the new Performing Arts Center. Superintendent Joe Graves says the building safety systems won’t be operational by then. He says without those, the building can’t be used for an event. The district hopes to set a new grand opening date by Monday afternoon. Graves believes the new date will fall in early February.
