The Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee is sponsoring a candidate forum for those running for Mitchell School Board and City Council. All candidates have been invited to participate.
The forums will be held on Tuesday, May 23rd, at City Hall Council Chambers, located at 612 N. Main St., beginning at 6:00pm. Forums are open and free for the public to attend. The forum will also be live streamed on the City of Mitchell YouTube channel. A link will be available on the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce website. Representatives from local media entities have been invited to pose questions to the candidates. Individuals from the public who choose to attend will be able to submit questions to the media representatives. Media representatives have final selection of which questions to ask during the forum.
