ABC/Image Group LASoon-to-be Country-Music-Hall-of-Famer Alan Jackson will play a free show Saturday in downtown Music City, just before the Nashville Predators’ first home-game of the 2017 Stanley Cup Final.
The event, called “Broadway Smash: Preds Party with a Purpose,” starts at 3:30 p.m. CT, with Alan set to take the stage at 5th & Broadway at 4:45. While a capacity crowd watches the 7 p.m. game inside Bridgestone Arena, fans outside will also be able to watch it on the big screen.
“This is an exciting time for the Predators and the city of Nashville,” Alan says. “As a fan, I’m proud to be included in their road to the Stanley Cup.”
Nashville’s hockey team is currently down two games in the series against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
“Gone Country” hitmaker Jackson will officially join the Hall of Fame’s legendary ranks during a Medallion Ceremony in October.
