ABC/Image Group LA Carrie Underwood kicked off a busy week of CMA Music Festival with a longstanding tradition: her fan-club party at the Grand Ole Opry.
In addition to a command performance, Carrie also gave her most-devoted supporters a Nashville Predators rally towel, a nod to the fact that her husband, team captain Mike Fisher, is just two wins away from clinching hockey’s Stanley Cup. She then posed for a group photo, as the crowd showed their team spirit by waving their new yellow banners.
Carrie also turned in two Tuesday-night performances at the Grand Ole Opry, ahead of her Wednesday-night date with Keith Urban, singing their hit “The Fighter” on the 2017 CMT Music Awards.
Saturday, Carrie will stop by Music City Center to join Brad Paisley‘s Fan Fair X chat about the pair’s nine-year history hosting the CMA Awards, and last year’s historic 50th-anniversary show.
