ABC Radio Dustin Lynch not only made his main-stage debut Friday night at CMA Fest 2017, he also rolled out his steamy new video for “Small Town Boy” at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
The Tullahoma, Tennessee native joked about what his publicist described as his “sexy new look” in the clip. “The sexy new image? Well, I woke up and I shaved!” he laughed.
“We had a blast shooting this video,” Dustin went on. “It was out in Malibu with Claire Holt, who is an incredible actress and smokin’ hot… She did a great job. She taught me a lot of things on the cameras.”
Set on the beach, the video follows the “Seein’ Red” hitmaker and the Australian actress as they get romantic.
“We had a great day,” Dustin recalls. “You know, it was a one-day shoot out there. Beautiful day, you couldn’t ask for a better day.”
“It was all about being in the moment,” Dustin says of the process. “It’s all about that moment. It’s all about that feeling of just being with that person that you truly love and adore. That’s why I fell in love with this song and that’s kinda what we wanted to capture with this video.”
