ABC RadioIt was a two-star #1 party Tuesday afternoon in Nashville, as Thomas Rhett turned out to support Michael Ray as he celebrated the success of “Think a Little Less,” which TR co-wrote.
While the song was written more than four years ago while TR was on tour, Michael took it to the top of the country chart back in March. The two teamed up to perform the tune together, along with the song’s other writers, Tuesday at Music City’s Sutler Saloon.
Michael thanked TR for not recording it on his album, while Thomas joked he was sorry his wife Lauren couldn’t be there, because she’s “pregnant A.F.,” which elicited a huge laugh from the crowd.
Look for the lead single from Michael’s sophomore album, “Get to You,” which will be available to stream and download on Friday.
