This weekend, Brantley Gilbert's NASCAR dreams come true

Valory Music Co. Brantley Gilbert kicks off this weekend Friday night by playing the iconic Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyoming — and things only get bigger from there.

Sunday, he’ll get to do a song at the NASCAR race that just happens to be named after him: the Brantley Gilbert Big Machine Brickyard 400. The Georgia native admits it’s all beyond his wildest dreams.

“You don’t ever think about things like your name on a race like this,”  he says. “But it’s pretty cool. You know, to be a part of something that means so much to a lot of people is powerful. It’s an honor.”

You can check out all the action at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sunday starting at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Brantley’s label mate, newcomer Carly Pearce, will perform the national anthem.

Brantley will return to Indianapolis next month, for his August 5 date at Klipsch Music Center.
