This is the fifth season Carrie’s sung the theme for the most-watched show in prime time TV. She shot the new version of “Oh, Sunday Night,” along with ten of the NFL’s finest, back in June at Universal Studios Hollywood. “Oh Sunday Night,” of course, is a variation on “Somethin’ Bad,” her #1 duet with Miranda Lambert from 2014.
You can get your first look at the new open Sunday, August 27 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, as the 49ers take on the Vikings. The full version airs for the first time on September 10, as the New York Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys.
This week, Carrie tops the Mediabase country chart with her duet with Keith Urban, “The Fighter.”
