Twenty-five years later, George Strait's “Pure Country” returns to theaters; soundtrack debuts on vinyl

UMG NashvilleExactly a quarter-century since its original release, the soundtrack to George Strait’s classic movie Pure Country will finally be available on vinyl for the very first time.

The 25th Anniversary Limited Edition of the album that boast the hits “I Cross My Heart,” “Heartland,” and “When Did You Stop Loving Me” will be available on September 15. King George himself will spotlight music from his big-screen debut during his September 1 and 2 shows at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, if you happen to live near an Alamo Drafthouse theater, you can catch special screenings of the film Pure Country during the month of August. The independent Texas-based chain has 28 locations nationwide.
