Internet rumors of Willie’s demise have become so rampant in recent years, the “Red-Headed Stranger” recorded the humorous track for his new project that came out in April, God’s Problem Child. The latest falsehood started with a tweet Thursday morning from a Chicago radio station.
The Country-Music-Hall-of-Famer will, in fact, be “On the Road Again” this weekend, as his 1980 hit says. Willie’s set to play the Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose, Alberta Friday night.
