FGL hits some major metal as they “Dig [Their] Roots”

BMLGFlorida Georgia Line now has some heavy metal to share with their heroes, as the RIAA passes out a new round of platinum certifications.

The duo’s Dig Your Roots album has officially passed the million-seller mark, along with the project’s singles, “God, Your Mama, and Me” and “May We All.” Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley teamed up with Tim McGraw for “May We All,” while Backstreet Boys joined them on “God, Your Mama and Me.” Both songs were #1 hits.

The lead release from Dig Your Roots, “H.O.L.Y.,” is now double platinum. You can hear a special version of that smash later this month, when FGL and BSB team up for a new episode of CMT Crossroads. It premieres August 30 at 10 p.m. ET.

This weekend, FGL and BSB team up once again to play Chicago’s Wrigley Field on the Smooth Tour.
