River House Artists/Columbia Nashville“Hurricane” hitmaker Luke Combs now has some video skills to add to his resume.
The North Carolina native co-wrote the treatment for his new music video, which he shot over the Fourth of July weekend in South Carolina.
“Every night on tour when we start playing ‘When It Rains It Pours,’” Luke explains, “you can feel the fans kick it up a notch. It’s just a fun song and I always think ‘Damn, I kinda wanna be this guy in the song. He’s got it figured out.’ So for the video, I convinced my buddies to meet me in Charleston, [and] we traced the footsteps of the song for two days at the beach and somehow they let us film it…”

He continues his current trek with Brantley Gilbert and Tyler Farr through the fall, before launching his own Don’t Tempt Me with a Good Time Tour October 3 in Los Angeles.
