Ads in the country music trades this week feature a new picture of a rather serious-looking Luke, along with the caption, “Luke Bryan August 23rd,” which is next Wednesday’s date.
The four-time Entertainer of the Year hasn’t had a current country single since “Fast” topped the chart in April.
During CMA Music Festival in June, Luke told reporters he was likely half-finished with the follow-up to Kill the Lights, which featured a record-breaking six number-ones. Last week at the event announcing his own album, Dustin Lynch revealed he’d heard Luke’s new project, saying that “it’s rockin’!”
