Why Brett Young will feel like the “King of the Road” on the Caliville Tour

BMLGTwo-time chart topper Brett Young continues on Lady Antebellum’s You Look Good World Tour through the first half of October, when he’ll launch his own headlining trek.

On the heels of his recent success, the California native is happy to now be traveling in style.

“I’m super-excited to get out there with my full band,” he tells ABC Radio. “And we’re finally on a bus this year, and we get the consistency of the same production every night, and being around the same guys every night. I’m just excited!”

If you notice Brett looking a little more rested these days, he says the customized coach is to thank.

“You know, it’s so funny,” he explains. “People that started with a bus think of a bus as like this small, confined space. But if you ever did radio tour in a van, then a bus absolutely feels like moving out of a one-bedroom apartment into a mansion.”

“There’s so much more space,” Brett continues, “and you get so much more sleep, cause it’s not a 5:30 a.m. flight to meet the bus to go straight to the venue. You go to sleep after a show, you wake up after eight hours sleep, and you’re at the next venue already. So it feels like an absolute luxury.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday for Brett’s Caliville Tour, which kicks off October 14 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
