Jon Pardi is “Head over Boots” after Dierks Bentley delivers a gold-plated, hometown surprise

Capitol NashvilleDierks Bentley helped Jon Pardi make quite a memory during the Sacramento stop on the What the Hell Tour this past weekend, delivering a gold plaque marking more than half-a-million in sales for the California Sunrise album.

“That was definitely a surprise,” Jon says of the moment, “and for it to be acknowledged in front of a hometown crowd of 18,000 in Northern California, amongst my friends and family and early supporters, made it an emotional moment. I will never forget it.”

California Sunrise debuted at #1 on the country chart the week it came out back in June of last year. So far, both of its singles — “Head over Boots” and “Dirt on My Boots” — have made it all the way to the top as well. Jon’s latest release, “Heartache on the Dance Floor,” is currently in the top ten.

You can watch Dierks surprise the ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year in a new video posted on Jon’s YouTube channel.
