ABC/Image Group LA After selling more than 750,000 tickets to more than sixty shows since January, the wheels have come to a halt on Dierks Bentley’s What the Hell Tour.
“This tour has been one of those experiences you wait for your entire life,” the Arizona native reflects, as he looks back on the trek. “To the fans and all the people who filled every seat in the house, who stood on their feet for hours and spent their hard-earned money to come see a show, you have made this an unforgettable journey.”
Dierks admits he’ll miss his road family, especially openers Jon Pardi and Cole Swindell.
“It’s going to be weird not having Cole and Pardi around,” Dierks says, “but I can’t thank those guys enough for coming along for this ride. Night after night the crowds were more explosive than the last… it will be a really hard year to top!”
Next up for Dierks, he’ll compete for the Male Vocalist trophy at this November’s 51st CMA Awards. His new single, “What the Hell Did I Say,” is currently climbing the chart.
