ABC/Randy HolmesDustin Lynch has spent the past two years opening for country superstars including Luke Bryan and Brad Paisley, but come fall he’ll be headlining a tour of his own. The “Small Town Boy” singer recently sat down with Music Choice to discuss what fans can expect from his upcoming 2017 Ride or Die Tour.
“We’ve been blessed to have enough hits now where I can play a 45-minute set and not get to any new music,” he says. “But, having a new album, I want to play some new songs and start getting a feel for those live. The Ride or Die Tour is going to be a great way to get the new music out there.”
Dustin will be bringing along friends Lanco, Ryan Hurd and Michael Ray for the 11-city trek. Since each of the artists has had a successful 2017, Dustin likens the tour to being a victory lap.
The Ride or Die Tour begins on November 3 in Fayetteville, N.C. and wraps December 17 in Grand Rapids, Mich. Expect the singer to play his most recent number one hits — “Seein’ Red” and “Small Town Boy” — as well as new songs from his latest album, Current Mood.
