Hank Williams Jr. gets rowdy in new “Monday Night Football” song with Florida Georgia Line and Jason Derulo

Rick Diamond/Getty Images for Essential Broadcast Media)Hank Williams Jr. has returned to Monday Night Football in a revamped version of his 1984 hit, “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight.”

The theme song, fittingly titled “All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night,” debuted on Sepember 11 on ESPN during the season opener between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings.

The new version enlists the help of Florida Georgia Line and pop star Jason Derulo and marks Hank Jr.’s return to ESPN after a six-year hiatus. Hank Jr.’s “All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night” served as MNF‘s intro song for more than 20 years before the singer parted ways with the channel after comparing Barack Obama to Hitler.

“All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night” has now hit YouTube and the video shows FGL rocking out with Jason and Hank Jr. at a football party with plenty of swagger.

As Hank Jr. asks, “Are you ready for some football?” FGL’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard’s energy prove that they’re more than up for the task while singing along beside Jason.

“The spotlight’s on/ Time to stake your claim/ For Monday Night Football’s Hall of Fame,” Hank Jr. sings.
