AT&T AUDIENCE Network Sam Hunt is giving fans a peek behind the curtain in an upcoming concert special.
The “Body Like a Back Road” singer will perform on an Audience Network special set to air on September 15 at 9:00 p.m. ET. Music lovers can catch the event via DIRECTV channel 239, AT&T U-verse channel 1114 and through DIRECTV NOW.
The concert special will shine the spotlight on Sam’s swift rise to fame through interviews, and incorporate footage from his live show as well. In a sneak peek of the episode, Sam, a former football player, admits that music didn’t always come easy.
“Athletically, growing up I was always encouraged and told, ‘You’re good at this. You can be successful at this,'” he tells cameras. “Music was something I had never been encouraged [to do] in that way.”
He adds, “It was absolutely outside of my comfort zone but there was something about that that made it more fulfilling when I was successful.”
Sam is currently on the road with his 15 In A 30 Tour, which arrives at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday before heading to Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater on September 22 and 23.
