A Mitchell man is taking another run on a city council seat. 23 year old Clay Loneman announced via e-mail Sunday that he’ll once again seek a council seat from Ward One.
He lost his first bid to Councilor Steve Rice back in June. Loneman says since Ward One Councilor Mel Olson is running for Mayor next year, in his words, “I came to the conclusion that now will be the perfect time to announce my intention to run for Olson’s seat.”
Loneman says he has a vision for the community that he’d like to see come to fruition.
The city election is held in June.
