ABC/Image Group LA From the very first announcement of their You Look Good World Tour, Lady Antebellum has talked about how much they were looking forward to their first shows in South Africa.
The concerts were to take place October 13 in Cape Town and October 15 in Johannesburg, but due to Hillary Scott’s pregnancy, they’ve been cancelled.
“We are thrilled for Hillary and her precious twin girls, but want to share our deepest apologies to our fans,” the band says in a statement released to South Africa’s Channel24. “We have dreamed of performing in South Africa for years and can’t wait to make new plans to visit your beautiful country soon.”
Fans will be able to get refunds at the point of purchase. Meanwhile, Lady A wraps up their final six dates on the You Look Good trek, starting October 1 in Amsterdam.
