Black River EntertainmentChristmas is still roughly three months away, but it seems like Kelsea Ballerini’s already been in the yuletide spirit.
“So so excited to announce that I recorded a song for The Star…” the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee tweeted.
The animated holiday feature is a retelling of the nativity story through the eyes of the animals. It boasts an all-star cast, including Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Tracy Morgan, Anthony Anderson, Kelly Clarkson, Kris Kristofferson and more.
While we don’t know anything about Kelsea’s song yet, we do know it’s part of a stellar soundtrack that also includes contributions from Jake Owen, Mariah Carey and Fifth Harmony.
