BMLGIf you’re an Ole Miss fan, you’ll want to download Brett Young’s tribute to the University of Mississippi.
The California native pitched for the Rebels’ baseball team in college, and was inspired to write “Hell Yeah, Damn Right” based on the school’s traditional chant.
“My time at Ole Miss was so much fun and so impactful,” Brett says. “I wanted to write a song to commemorate the game day experience in Oxford at the Grove.”
Brett originally shared the song with his friends in Mississippi and on the Ole Miss campus, but decided to officially release it due to demand.
The “Like I Loved You” hitmaker kicks of his Caliville Tour next weekend, starting October 14 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
