NorthWestern Energy is pleased to announce the opening of our new office in Mitchell. The office is home to our construction group, as well as the service center walk-in office for customers in Mitchell that want to pay bills, set up services or ask questions in person.
The Mitchell office, located at 300 South Burr, is just over 5,700 square feet, and will offer easy access to walk-in customers. The former downtown office is now closed to the public and employees have moved to the new space. The new building is geared towards allowing customers to work one-on-one with NorthWestern representatives on bill payment, account questions, service requests and other company programs.
“We loved our time in downtown Mitchell, but we had outgrown the former space, so it was time to invest in a new building, plus the new location is also closer to our service warehouse,” said Brad Wenande, manager, NorthWestern’s South Division. “Another building project that is being finished up is a 14,000 square-foot addition to our existing warehouse which will more than double the size of the existing shop. In all, in just under $3 million was invested into our properties.”
“The new office building will better serve our employee’s needs with more meeting space, improved business technologies, and added security features for our customers,” said Bobbi Schroeppel, NorthWestern’s vice president, Customer Care, Communications and Human Resources. “The key thing that our customers will notice is the off-street parking lot and building access which makes it a safer place for our customers to park and exit their vehicle if they need to come in to pay a bill or work with our employees.” The walk-in offices represent an additional service offering to customers, who can still contact and do business with NorthWestern by phone at (800) 245-6977 or via the Web at northwesternenergy.com.
