Credit: Shy BlakemanBrett Young‘s year keeps getting better. In the midst of his first-ever headlining tour, the singer received news that his latest single, “Like I Loved You,” has been certified gold.
Thursday evening, during a performance at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas, Brett was surprised with the announcement of his achievement. BMLG Records President/EVP Big Machine Label Group Jimmy Harnen joined the singer on stage to present him a plaque in celebration of his gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Brett’s third single, “Like I Loved You” follows the success of his previous number-one hits, “Sleep Without You” and “In Case You Didn’t Know.” Brett’s currently headlining his Caliville Tour, which wraps Dec. 16.
